This small series of work was a practice in modeling that never directly effected any part of the model. Meaning, that this modeling is created solely with Blender modifiers. These models were all created from a simple cube, and if the modifiers are removed all the objects go back to that simple cube.
This object first started out with a subdivision surface. I then added decimate modifier. After that, I added a screw modifier to twist. Finally, I added a remesh modifier to give it the blocky look.
This object started with a bevel modifier which rounded the corners. Then I used a simple deform modifier to add the twist. Then added a triangulate modifier that gave the lines as you see.
This began with a bevel modifier as well. An array was added that created repetition of shapes. Then I used a screw modifier to twist the shape. Finally, I used solidify in order to give the shape some sustenance.
